Hello, my name is Jodie and this website is the result of my journey while studying the unit EDN 113 Living and Learning with Technology. This website contains an About Me page, links to my blog outlining my personal learning experiences, a Digital Guidelines page and links to other task based assessments related to this unit. My goal for this website is to demonstrate an understanding of the aims of the unit; listed on page 3 of the Unit Guide for EDN 113 Living and learning with technology (2014, Parker). My understanding of the aims are to show compentency when using computers with a wide range of programs for gaining and sharing information with others on both a professional and social level. I hope to gain the necessary skills to enable me to continue to learn with and use technology during my study successfully, so that I can continue to be a self directed learner. I aim to keep abreast with the fast advances of technology and to make the most of these wonderful tools in the classrooms of the future. I want to keep my future students engaged and entertained in a pedagogical manner. I want them to be as excited as I am about learning and technology can help me to achieve this goal.
